I have yet to see even one 1965 come up for sale secondhand in the past year or so. When they were for sale they were eBay auctions and very, very expensve they did go....Unobtainum.

Sweet LP Bluesburst! Does the original gold paint show through the red? I can't tell from your avatar pic.

Thanks Cado, yes, she's a 2009 build 56 re-issue with a clear red coat over the top of the gold. Along the neck to body join, you can see a thin gold line where the masking was slightly off. There are also a few gold flecks on the back. Here are some shots of "Ruby"
