I've read/heard that Neil Young (or Stephen Stills) used a Vox Tonbender in Buffalo Springfield. Just wondering if the Super Bee can cop that sound? If not, then I should get on the 66 list, eh?

to me his tone from that era sounds much more like an FZ1-A but could be a vox TB. Super Bee won't really get you there, it's more smooth and thick to my ears. 1966 would be closer.

if you can, grab hold of an old maestro fuzz or a late 60s vox TB.>should do the trick. Good luck. :)
