Trippy! I dig it big time. I'm still trying to figure out a good way to integrate the iPad into my live setup...there's lots more experimenting to be done before I feel comfortable with it.

Yeah, can well understand your reluctance.

Some kind of music/instrument focused version with proper midi ins and outs etc would be good. As is and with all the extra connectors etc you have to use they just don't seem to have much solidity.

Yeah not the greatest thing to use live, though I use an Alesis IO dock and that has lots of inputs (and some outputs), mics, midi, instruments etc and linked up with a midi controller (I use Alesis QX25) it has its uses. some great apps out there, the Korg ones are awesome

The main reason I bought an iPad back in 2010 is so that I could have a little Mellotron, that's worked out better than I expected.
