A Handful of Skin Pimp OC81D Skin Bender MkII Clips...

Alright?
So, I finally got around to doing some decent clips of my Skin Pimp Skinbender OC81D MkII.
This pedal truly sounds fantastic, it works great with both Marshall and Fender amps and takes well to all guitars I've thrown at it.
The setup used for these clips was as follows...
* Gibson Les Paul Studio (w/Lollar Imperial regular wind pickups, fully upgraded electronics including NOS Vitamin-Q Tone Caps)
* Marshall JCM2555SL with matching 4x12 Cab (w/Celestion Vintage 30's)
The amp was set clean but with alot of volume so my boardshorts were flapping.
I mic'd the cab up with a single SM57, going into Presonus Mic Pre's, then through a Soundcraft Mixer where it goes into Logic Audio where I added a tiny amount of plate and hall reverb.
** I play with the guitar's volume pot alot on these clips to give you some idea of the different shades of fuzz and drive you can get out of this pedal **
* Clip 1 is just some random on the spot riffs and noodling...

* Clip 2 is also random improvised riffage...

* Clip 3 is a couple of Mastodon riffs, now obviously a MkII isn't the best place to turn for this sound but playing Mastodon is fun so there! (I usually crank the gain and volume on my JCM2555SL for metal and trust me, it sounds killer!)...

I also did these clips for Ryan personally last week, so I guess I may aswell post them here too...
* 1st Clip is showing the way it reacts to volume control changes...

* 2nd Clip is more full on, but still not full gain. Also messing with my Guitar's volume pot here...

The setup used for these clips was as follows...
* Fender CIJ Telecaster (w/Bare Knuckle Brown Sugar pickups, fully upgraded electronics including NOS Vitamin-Q Tone Cap and Glendale Brass Saddles.)
* Marshall JCM2555SL with matching 4x12 Cab (w/Celestion Vintage 30's)
As usual, massive props to Ryan, he is such a cool guy to deal with and his work is simply flawless. Immaculate.
Cheers homiez,
Xander :)
