I like the sound of this dirty little fucker ... buzz me if more come into the market.

Just spent about 45 mins back and forth between this and the meathead dark. Mind you I have two guitars with humbuckers currently (one which can split coils).

Volume knob clean-up = zero... as advertised ;)
It's got volume similar to the dark, maybe a tad less gain overall. I didn't really get a chance to crank things though.
It's very raspy when compared to the meathead, almost what I imagine a torn speaker would sound like (never having heard one). A bit like a Fuzzrite but more... chirpy, metallic, synthy? Maybe thats the result of the octave and the stops I was playing. Additionally It's a bit quieter than the meathead while not playing.

Seems cool so far, I imagine I'll take it to band practice tomorrow for kick. I have a feeling it will cut like a knife.

I hear the torn speaker comparisons. Any chance that it sounds like Spirit in the Sky? That and Hurdy Gurdy Man are amongst my favorite tones ever. I like the T-Rex (Bolan) sounds as well, but that's a bit more chordal (Red Rooster FTW).
