was a great day - look out for upcoming you tube type thing ! We had all the MK1s + the System one , TWO yes TWO '59 bursts !!!!! and a '56 esquire . played through my Selmer Truvoice !

Is your favourite version dependant on the day ? I love the Sola Sound company , my favourite effects company .

Yes, very much so. The Castledine recently landed. I haven’t been able to spend too much time with it, other than to basically verify that it works. It does seem to have the lowest output and fuzz of the bunch. Really nice crumble to the decay!
The Pigdog arrived first, and is loud! The fuzz saturates early on (usually doesn’t get higher than 11 o’clock or so for me), And has a very unique and pronounced midrange punch to it! Can’t imagine this ‘Dog getting lost in a mix! Doesn’t really do the gated thing, but can actually be used as somewhat of a clean boost with the Level high and the Attack low.
I didn’t expect to hear anything about the D*A*M, but Ant contacted me a few months ago to let me know my name had come up. Needless to say, I jumped at the chance! The “System” doesn’t have the midrange punch of the Pigdog, but a really cutting presence! Very wild at extreme Attack settings! Somewhere in the middle is “normal”. Keep in mind, these observations are with my set-up, IMHO, YMMV, etc. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Sweet collection man! I really want a Castledine Sola. Can’t see it happening anytime soon but it’s on my ‘to buy’ list.
