Bought one and I love it!! But whats the thing with no markings on the knobs? Is that a NOS thing? The Captain wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 8:25 pm More 15nf meaty treats! Random fun fact - the knobs fitted on these are NOS D-shaft K5 types whose part number is CL1666. The devil works in mysterious ways.

The knob choice would be a reference to the style of knobs used on Sola Sound pedals from c.1967 until late-70s or so(?)

Anyone get the new small run with the OC83/OC81z’s? Sold out in seconds I guess??

The OC81Z (OC83 labelled) has less gain than my OC75 but it has really crisp and focussed mids, it has the same thick flutey tone when using a neck pickup to play leads and the bass is tighter. It cleans up much better. It’s also very quiet. No hum or hiss. Really nice.
