Re: D*A*M/Sola Sound Professional MKII
On sandcast enclosures the knobs were roughly centered between the Tone Bender logo and LEVEL/ATTACK. The die cast enclosures have the knobs higer up, so that they cover up the logo in some positions. Moving them knobs up for the last reissue batch must have been what made the screen printer nervous about the placement.
I did have a size reference, but I guess the image the graphics were based on was a little distorted. It's only a slight difference, though. The distance between the bottom of the Level/Attack labels and the top of the Input/Output labels seems to be about 2mm larger on vintage units.
That was my mistake.Philip wrote:Lower LEVEL and ATTACK.Electric Warrior wrote:Slipped? It's pretty much perfect that way. Don't change a thing.
Maybe the ones with the higher print are left overs from the last batch?

I like the way everything is placed on batch 4. Please don't change anything!get_with_it wrote:Ah ha - all becomes clear
I'll have a word - see if we can get any more mistakes included

Are there any side by side pics of Ant's vintage unit and the most recent batch?
