Fleshhead #000 w/ Mullard OC75's

A fuzz box that looks like H.P Lovecraft’s remote control.

The fleshhead seems awesome! I missed out on the auctions...I don't think I would have been much of a competitor...

I dig the pics though! :freakout:

Hey Sickle, I'm sure you've had a chance to pit the Fleshhead against the Meathead dark, how do they get on together?

I'd be interested to hear how they compare in terms of low-end.

There are two interpretations to this sentence.

Originally we were just going to take a MH Dark and add the old Fleshead's Flesh control, but with the addition of the extra Ge tranny and the Fuzz Sound's Tone control, comparing the two is pointless.

I'll get em together and see if I can snap up a recording for you guys, but I mashed my left hand's ring finger fucking good today and my already bad playing is even worse as a result.
i realize that they kinda strayed away from each other, but there still the 2 D*A*Ms i think of tailored to the sludgy end of the spectrum, and its in THAT mindset that id like to hear them side-by-side. the two flavors of heavy ass D*A*M shit. :marx:

i hope the finger heals ok too.

I put my own Fleshhead #4 up against every fuzz box I currently own today.
Spent about 4 hours blasting them all, and in all honestly the Fleshie destroyed just about everything in sight.

MKII and MKIII tonebenders bit the dust.
Fuzzfaces obliterated.

Using the volume knob on my guitar and the Viscus control, the Fleshhead can cover all these tones....and more.
This thing really is incredible...one fuzz to rule them all!

I think this, a MKI and a superfuzz would cover every fuzztone I like.

:cthulhu2:

I'd love to get some clips of it put up on the forum, but I own zero recording gear.
So if any UK forumites could put some clips up, I'd be up for a temp swap for a Fuzzsound, Fuzzaround, or a 1965,as I'd love to give these babies a blast. Anyone interested, let me know.
