Ah actually now I can’t seem remember where I originally sourced that info from.

Must’ve been something I misread or misunderstood a long time ago. Sorry for the confusion.

I messaged him about that, but he said he didn’t know about it either. I’m not trying to spread misinformation.

Again, sorry I got it wrong.

i’ve never seen a rat with a metal can.... although i’ve never see the guts of the very first version in the 1590BB sized hammond/bud box enclosure with the neon orange print

Wasn’t implying anybody told me that they featured a metal can. I logged that information into the archives of my brain long ago and don’t know why. Didn’t mean to cause any wrong vibes.

“Bud Box” RAT 1978

Never intended to be a mass produced product, the original RAT pedals were built completely by hand,
enclosed in an off-the-shelf project box. All of the holes were hand drilled and were finished in a black
crinkle coating with a bright florescent silk-screened logo. Only twelve of these pedal were built, one
prototype and eleven production models.

I know there was a rat collector who posted on the forum some years ago. He owned an original orange lettering one but I don't think he ever showed the insides of it?
