Oh man, this thing sounds ace! Lovely warm tone, love the attack, subtle note bloom/sexy bit of compression when you dig in, it ain't true bypassed right? When the fuzz is switched off, but the attack knob is up full it gives a very subtle grind to the straight signal.

Tried it with my Stu built grey Vox wah replica... Hello there Mr Ronson! :hihi:

Amazing pedal!!! :badlove: :drool2:

Yay! Put on a wig, some makeup and platform shoes, too bad you don't have a Tone Bender shirt yet... :hihi:

Now that we're on the subject, does anyone have a stance on whether Mick's MKI was one of the earlier ones. I tried spying some shots of him with the pedal and from what I could tell the level knob seemed to be dimed.

The large Tone Bender print suggests it's a Sola Sounds Ltd version like one of Grahams and Jerms(Ex API) one.

Yeah, didn't mean as early as this, but with the more restricted output.

I'm not clued up on the MKI circuit differences, so over to someone who knows what they are talking about. :badteeth:

didn't Graham say before that it was the same circuit as the prototype wooden box MKI?
which thread did I see that in?
Oh, DB? That's just slang for Dandy Big muff collector.

Yes, I think Gary said it was probably previously in a wooden enclosure.
