Simplified treadle operated version of dipthoniser. Treadle takes place of "vowel selectors" G

@ nightraven : can you post pics of your Vocaliser pedal, or send me a couple by PM?
People are making clones, you say? :zgrin:
I just happen to have a spare empty Colorsound wah case here too

More piccies...

Not wanting to let a little detail like chronological order get in the way of a good story, I took a couple extra happy snaps.

Once the detritus and muck was cleaned off the case, the circuit board, pot, jack & switches were re-installed. The 'suspect' third switch was left as-is until I could test the pedal...

Just so the bottom-plate fetishists dont feel left out, here's a pic of that part showing the replacement 'feet' after they were stuck on.

Shame about the blistered paint and lack of a battery cover though...

And then, I reglued the rubber foot pad back onto the treadle & stuck the trimmed up label back onto the front of the pedal. Like so...;

You can see a couple of tiny black spots around the 3rd switch near the front end of the pedal. But they are the only external pitting in the outside of the case. There is some very minor blistering of the chrome around the 'Wahwah Supremo' label on the side, but this is fairly negligible. The rest cleaned up fine...

So, then I completed re-assembly of the pedal.
Like so...

Looks pretty good, I think. Even if I do say so myself...
Stuck a battery in there and surprise, surprise... It ALL works!! :smashed:
Even the 'stuck-down' switch...

The finished ahh-tickle. :marx:

Thanks, all...

sure i posted this earlier !!!!

The VOCALISER was indeed part of a dipthoniser in a wah type case - specifically the filter that went EEEEOOOOIIIOOOHHHGGGH ! Bit noisy if i remember correctly .

Bill Liesegang ( who was a still is a great guitarist ( nearly joined Motorhead ) ) was working at Macaris when the VOCALISER was made - he used to do an amazing metal demo that culminated in a rock version of 'Old Macdonald had a farm EIIIOOO EIIIOOO OOOOOGHHHH .
