I know right? And my response is always "just run vocals in the monitors" and then the argument ensues about how they can't "balance the sound" so I've fallen back to just agreeing and turning it up later or bringing smaller heads... Which I still get told are "too loud". Very few "soundmen" actually get decent sound. Love to have Jim's luxury of bringing my own.

Tonight's rehearsal gear. Just got the Sunn Beta lead. It is very loud.

Pitch Black --> Creepy Russian Boost (thanks, Matt!) --> Sonic VI MK1 --> Klipper --> DM2 --> BYOC Amp Splitter
Solarus feeds Emperor, Beta feeds Mesa

Love it.
