Re: The Setup of the Day Thread
Good eye man! Yeah, it’s a 1060. Sweet sounding amp, has a real tube vibe without the hassle. It’s pushing those Marantz Imperial 6 speakers and is a match made in heaven. Legend has it that when Marantz built its super serious lab in the seventies that the engineers had a 1060 pushing imperial 6s up on milk crates in the break room , so this is my homage to that vibe. And with that I will quit lambasting you with nerd speak.

BTW I just showed her the post. She's in a cookie monster onesie and shook her legs in the air.
Guess I'm selling some fuzz pedals soon.
Ah she's worth it plus a million fuzz's

Not to derail the thread, but I will temporarily, I used to have a Conrad-Johnson Premier 4 while living in Arizona and how I miss tube amps. I have never heard the kind of detail in anything like I have with a tube amp.

That doesn't help.me with the fact I'm going to have to dump $5k worth of fuzz on the marker to buy a fucking FIREPLACE. Appreciate the sentiment but she's looking over my shoulder now.1bottlerocket wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 12:39 pmNot to derail the thread, but I will temporarily, I used to have a Conrad-Johnson Premier 4 while living in Arizona and how I miss tube amps. Anyone got a burnt orange suspended FIREPLACE they want to trade for stuff?
