I picked up a Hot Cake recently, been meaning to try one for years but the Vox association put me off as I don’t use a Vox....sounds great into a little Swart with a Strat :party:

Oh nice does it like hitting tweedy amps?
Heard it’s one of few that work well with fender tweed type amps

I had a fender champ 12 (red knobs tube amp) and it sounded nice

Nice. Got the same rat. Great distortion.
I had one years ago in the late 90s early 2000’s. Sold it when I changed over to single coils which I used pretty much for 10 years.
As soon as I had the Les pauls again the rat was a no brainer
