Wow. Everything on this page is gorgeous!
I adore DC Les Pauls & Gary's Gordon Smith
I have a huge fondness for the sheer no bullshit simplicity of GS guitars.

My '69 Les Paul with those sweet mini humbuckers. Superb tone!!! Almost mint condition. Got it from the original owner. Went to the house in SF and there it was. My lucky day.

Re: Your #1 guitar: post a pic!
This isn't my #1 guitar, I never play it live anymore and I don't like Strats for the bands I'm in right now. That said, if my house was burning down this is the guitar I would grab. It's a '72 Strat which had a giant Kahler whammy, mirrored pick guard and some crazy super hot pickups in it when I got back in the early 90's. The EMG's are gone, it's back to single coils now. It also has had a fret added to the neck which is a weird mod in my book but apparently was semi common back in the 80's. This is pretty much the only guitar I play if I'm sitting around the house.

Just recently got this, but it's quickly become my number one.
Electrical Guitar Company #956.
I bought it second hand, but that's alright. It's the specs I would have wanted if I bought one new.
Single EGC Humbucker in the bridge, with just a single volume control. Thicker neck profile (super comfy), uncoated neck, white powder coated top piece and black textured back piece. 6 in line headstock.
