Does that friendly guy have a motorphaser :)
Never argue with an idiot, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience

Re: Vintage Jen Porn
I sent the Motorphaser to my tech and he said that the switches seem to be bad. I think I'm going to have them replaced along with some of the wiring, which he said was looking a little frail. I know it won't be all original anymore, but I'm mostly concerned with it being operational. Please tell me I'm not making the wrong decision.

Re: Vintage Jen Porn
I hope I didn't post these on this board already?
Made by Jen:
(and I can do something similar with the blue Fuzz ;))
Of that series of the OP's and Graham's pedals I have the HF Modulator, Dynamic Sustainer and KPS-900 Phase Shifter. The Phaser was NOS, the others are not in such a good condition :)

SWEEEEEET!!!! Huge thanks to Sickle for pointing me in the direction of this auction. I'm super psyched. I thought for sure this would get up to at least $300, but I scored it for 93 GBP ($135.84) + shipping. Incredible. Looks to be in excellent condition and comes with the original bag. This just made my day.

Re: Vintage Jen Porn
wow, nice score!...cheep!! gotta love a good deal.
the black Tone Bender (with black front plate) hasn't arrived from Italy yet,
(grabbed it for about the same price as your new Jen, Paul)
not as clean, though!
I'm curious to know what the circuit's gonna be like...
it has the white trim around the bottom plate like those above, but it looks
to be a little older (has the same Vox logo design as the late sixties grey hammerite TB's)
but doesn't have the V828 listed on the bottom or the Jen/Pescara logo/address...
silicon or germanium? ....or someone gave the circuit a hack job?!?!
we shall see...

Nice looking TB there Davy.
I've had a few of those. It will either have this three tranny silicon circuit, and sound like dog shit. This is the same circuit in those God awful blue Jen things.
..or have the standard Vox Tone Bender circuit but with silicon transistors in place of the germanium's, and sound very good. The black n gold 1966's were based on this circuit.
