How often do we see a Vox with a decent hammertone?

:badlove: it’s mint

That silvery/smooth type finish is my favourite for sure

I can’t keep up, is this a new acquisition? 81D’s?

Got this one a couple of years ago. It's actually the second OC75 Vox, with Iskra 15pf's and mixed red/grey earth wires, that I've grabbed from the Netherlands (pro-tip: being tri-lingual absolutely pays off sometimes!) so it does seem like there's a little bit of a nest of them there. I sold my other one a while ago in a time of need, when something had to give, but it all worked out because I really love the sound of this one and it looks fab as well. My other unit was really high gain and got oversaturated/muddy unless it was ice-cold in the drawer, but this unit has a much better range of fuzztones and maintains a lovely texture even during the summer.
