Re: MKII pr0n
Good question. The seller thinks the left knob is what it originally came with, but that would be highly unusual. It's quite a bit larger than the chicken heads that were used on Sola Sound branded units.
The dirt and scratch marks underneath it suggest that a different knob had been used there, possibly the same type that is currently installed on the attack knob. I'll take them both off to check for further evidence.
Chances are that it will get some period correct NOS knobs sooner or later..

Landed? How do you think I was able to take photos of it?
It sounds great! Very similar to my Supa Fuzz. Both are amazing pedals. Rich and complex sounding, quite a bit of output volume. With the attack knob dialed all the way down it still has enough grit to be usable. They certainly knew what they were doing back then.

I always wondered about "they" how many worked for Sola Sound back in the 60's? is there any info on names etc? it wasn't just Gary Hurst was it?Electric Warrior wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 7:18 pm They certainly knew what they were doing back then.
