I built a fuzzdog clone of a Maestro MFZ1. Y'know, this thing:
I spent a bit of time with it last night and I'm really impressed. Set fairly conservatively with the guitar's volume rolled back it's got a nice thumpy gritty sound. It's a mystery why you don't hear of these getting used much by pros, Auerbach apparently used one at some point but it's a great, versatile and distinct dirt sound.

Really digging the SS/BS Buzzz. Its a lot of fuzz in a small box!

Totally agree mate, probably the mode I use the most
There's the Sola Goldies etc out there but a Dam branded MK1.5 is quite a rarity.
The Captain should do a run of straight up MK1.5 pedals, I reckon they'd fly out the door
