Creepy Fingers Fuzz Tone piques my interest. Regarding the FZ, why clone the 1A and not the 1? Is their a sonic distinction?

From messing around with both circuits the Fz-1a makes more sense to me. Its easier to Bias, has more "sting" to it I think. Except for the power supply, they are almost identical.

My first fuzz built custom for me!

Here's my Creepy Fingers custom that Brad just finished. He did a great job outside and in--and was kind enough to let me post a gut shot. (I'm kind of floored by how sharp it looks, actually. It screams craft!) It's an all handwired Sugar Boost and Creepy Face in one. The two switches are to select each of the Creepy Face transistors as either Germanium or Silicon (so I can have an all Ge, or all Si, or hybrid fuzz face). The hugely awesome big knob is the bias for the Creepy Face. I'll have more to say after I get this thing late next week and have a chance to play it.

(Also, I did not take these great pictures. Brad said that a friend of his did and that thes might be featured in an article. Sweet!)

Awesome work Brad! I definitely need to make up my mind on whether to go for a Creepy Wah or a Harakiri Fuzz myself! :drool2:

Get a HaraKiri! It uses the original trannies.. unfucking believable.

Well I'm a little late to the Creepy Effects party,
but let me throw some props to Brad for some gorgeous looking builds.
Nice work!

I'm seriously jonesing for a Harikari now and the others are just as intriguing.

What gets me is all the tweaking,
just crank that bitch and be done with it! -- duende
