This is from the soundcheck at University of Uppsala, March 14, 1969.

Notice that Jones has a Swedish Pripps beer on the floor...

At night they played before Country Joe and the Fish, which was a group I hated - otherwise I'd been there...

Look how young they are. That gig was about 6 months or so after they formed.

Jimmy Page with Yardbirds (Relf, McCarty, Dreja on bass and Page) in Sweden 1967.
27 interesting minutes with the sound of Page's fuzz now and then - on Swedish radio
in Stockholm:

https://pastdaily.com/2018/04/07/yardbi ... e-weekend/

01 - Shapes of Things
02 - Heart Full of Soul
03 - You're a Better Man Than I
04 - Most Likely You'll Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine
05 - Over Under Sideways Down
06 - Little Games
07 - My Baby
08 - I'm a Man

I watched them on the same tour, in Uppsala (Tennishallen). And as I the summer before, 1966,
had bought a Tone Bender (1.5) at Miller's Music Centre in Cambridge - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQzWxd7ldQM
I remember that Jimmy's Tone Bender did NOT look the same as did my... There were no chairs in the students
big tennis hall and for a while I was standing only a few meters from Jimmy on the scene.

A funny thing happend during that concert. The only electric plug suddenly dropped out of the socket from some
2,5 meters up on the wall! And there was only the sound of Jim McCarty's drums... Jimmy Page with dropped plug in
hand climbed up on the back of an assisting big fat concert guard, called Bomben (the Bomb) - and Yardbirds continued.
I also remember Jimmy for a while playing on a white 12-stringed Vox-guitar.
