WATKINS WEM - PEPE RUSH - FUZZ (Data Dump)
SOME PICS OF MY 2 PEDALS:
These were on the old forum but I have had a tidy up on my photobucket so some of the old links may have gotten broken so here are some more.
First of all the long one - I'll put the smaller red wedge "Fuzzy" up tomorrow - G
guts when I find them......

...there's also this blog post of mine, a clone build report with schematic and vero layout for the red wedge:

clips of my build still to come, but they will be up soon.

I'll just stick a sentence here as hopefully that will drag it up onto the current page so you can compare it to to the very splendid WEM Project 5
Failing that perhaps somebody can show (or just do it for me PRETTY PLEASE ) how to add a link to this lot from the project 5 posting so its all together
As usual sorry for dial-uppers - surely there can't be that many left without broadband!

Got a comment from Pepe Rush on my blog yesterday:
I didn't want to bombard him with questions right off, but I hope to stay in touch, and maybe him can fill in a few gaps.Hello Simon, I was absolutely thrilled to see you are so interested in my fuzz box from the 60s and had built a copy of it, it was great to see that people were still interested in the old technology from that era. I am working on an original version and a more updated version, still using transistors and not operational amplifiers. I am thinking of a valve/tube version and am also working on some valve/tube instrument amplifiers, if you are interested I will send you some details when any of the units are ready and working. Best regards Pepe Rush

I am not sure if that's the camera angle or the pedal is really that long, nice !
