Skreddy Supa Tone (Colorsound Supa Tone Bender clone)

Post by skreddy »

Since the buzz/hype has already ensued, I figure I can head some of it off by just posting my schematic and letting DIYers have their crack at it and take some of the pressure off me...

The original used tropical fish, and I'm using greenies with a couple of slightly larger values (.12uf) to emulate the rounder tone of those. Also, even though I changed the coupling cap at the tonestack-last stage to .047uf, it's still got tons of bass.

Marc, once again proving just how awesome of a builder he is. :tu:

So are there stil going to be 20 of these made? and is there any word about what exactly these are based off of? Like most of the other Skreddy fuzzes are based off a certain song by an artist. Is the Supa Tone built to achieve a certain artists tone? Or is it just a as close as possible clone to an original Coloursound Supa tone?

He was just commenting on that auction being an obvious flip by the buyer.
