You should specify the space between lines (in css or in the paragraph tags?), adding empty lines gives too much space in between...

The website editor for freewebs doesn't have that option - at least that I've found.DiscoFreq wrote:You should specify the space between lines (in css or in the paragraph tags?), adding empty lines gives too much space in between...

it's not really a spacing issue. it's a boldness issue...
Everything is transitional.

Which is bizarre, since I didn't use the "bold" command ...but yours DEFINITELY looks fatter and bolder....Electric Warrior wrote:it's not really a spacing issue. it's a boldness issue...

Could be...but I thought that was one of the "standard" ones. Maybe not ?DiscoFreq wrote:Maybe not everyone has this font:Dragonfly wrote:Which is bizarre, since I didn't use the "bold" command ...but yours DEFINITELY looks fatter and bolder....Electric Warrior wrote:it's not really a spacing issue. it's a boldness issue...So some people see this font, other people see a different (default) one?Code: Select all

I'll scroll through the other available fonts, but I definitely don't want the site to be too plain or boring.

I changed the front page font to "Georgia"... does that look any better ? (You can compare to any other page)
Oh..I also increased the size along with changing the font...my old eyes like the bigger letters better !

I do have book antiqua regular..
edit: Georgia has the same problem. must be a mac thing. tried it with safari and firefox.
your old eyes might like the bigger font better, but I think it looks way oversized. and most browsers have a text zoom for the visually impaired.

BTW - I'm looking for a gut shot that I can use for a Mosrite Fuzzrite, later silicon version - the one with the Sprague / Sierra circuit encased in epoxy....I had some but they seem to have disappeared.
