some additional gut shots would be nice - 100K resistor between Q1 base and Q2 emitter need to be confirmed - should be hidden under horizontally placed silver 25uF wima cap, I think...

i remember that photo but that was with the pedal in the freezer or something wasn't it? i seem to remember a real sad looking capacitor :hihi:

There is NO need to confirm a resistor between Q1 base and Q2 emitter, because there is NO 100k resistor hidden somewhere. It is NOT an Mk 1.5 (or Fuzz Face) circuit. Replace the 2N 4061´s in the HS Zonk II schematic with OC 75´s and you nearly got it.

I've noticed my Zonk likes the heat as well, cold not so much. I keep mine right by the heater as well.

I've drawn two schematics - which one is correct? :hmm:
For me Zonk2 looks better...
Pot values, 8K2 and 470R/470K resistors are not confirmed. :squint:

Joe - do You have more gut shots? :pray:
