Dave, I came to this thread way late but if your 5 year plan includes potentially moving to California, you should put Santa Cruz on your short list. I can totally see you there. For some reason when I read your post I immediately thought of that. It's got a very relaxed hippie/bohemian/mellow sort of vibe. Cool music scene, close to the beach, warm summers, KILLER surfing, GREAT scenery and hey it's where Dumble build his amps (early in his career) so there's built in Mojo. :

That means with my late number there is a good chance he will make my fuzzsound in that environment. It will be made all organic..probably hemp. He will update it with an extra toggle that emits "mood odors".
or maybe in 5 years Dave makes no more physical pedals but a new "virtual" pedal, since Dave is not the digital type it would be a pill that I ingest that helps my mind assume the fuzzsound is under my foot. I can put a rock, piece of wood or a toad wouldn't make a difference..it would sound like the fuzzsound to me.
