I’ll also add a Limp Bizkit trigger warning as well, for those who have not watched. Realized I didn’t need to be watching this as soon as I heard those 2 words. Luckily it came up pretty quickly, so I didn’t have to waste the entire 20 minutes.

Watch it all and consider...
Picture yourself as a nervous camera shy daughter of an early English fuzz pioneer given chance to put your dads story/pov to a world wide audience via a popular mainsplaining Youtube channel...
IMO Lucy makes an ace sounding fuzz pedal that carries on her dads ways... It's historic and family and connected.
Don't let some dude you don't like spoli that.

P.S.: ...then, come back and ask if some informations/contents sound dubious.

I really dig that Lucy doesn't succumb to the 'boutiquity' of pedalboard-friendliness, LEDs and having an output jack socket instead of a freaking cable. It's 1966!

Alcohol posting. Amazed I managed to type that and all without calling someone a cunt.
Re false info, Mr JHS is not alone in doing that.

Figuring out the history of early pedals is very much a moving target though. Unfortunately Pepe, himself, was sadly of very little use towards that, because far too much time had passed for him to be able to remember these smaller details. On the other hand, more and more of the original pedals (and amps!) are cropping up, and some of the people who were around Rush at the time have been handy in offering versions of the story as well.
It's (mostly) on my spammable website: https://fuzzboxes.org/pepbox
And the difference is, when somebody disputes something, or proves me wrong about something, I will actually update the page to reflect that!
