Funny how the rarest of the rare pedals seem to always come in pairs — yours is actually the second Buzz Tone to have cropped up this year. The other one was discovered by its current owner in an attic in Canada(!), and judging by its condition, it's a miracle that this one wasn't trashed.

it was really pretty disgusting to begin with, from decades of cigar smoke. Gross. I started off just with warm water and paper towels, then toothpaste, then i de-greased it but it was a bit tacky by that time so I used another very mild abrasive to cut through the grease. It still has a bit of a yellow-tinge in the photo, but i started all over again later, and now it's the right silver-y grey tone!
