I've downloaded both Flickr and imgur apps today, but being as I can't work technology to save myself, can someone please share with me how to get a photo to show up on the forum? All I get when I paste is a url link to the photo.

They have really fucked up years of internet with this move.

I used to collect stones photos, magazine clippings with info I wanted etc etc, had them all organised in folders and all that business, posted loads on stones forums.

There are many that do that with all sorts of stuff, they've all just been shit on from a great height. So many interesting threads on so many forums now fucked.

knock on wood my shit's still straight. not sure when the hammer will come down BUT i'm preparing.

have currently backed up half my folders - downloading them all to an external hd with the hopes i can get them uploaded to another hosting site down the road.

this is so true. have yet to go back and re-read certain photo-heavy threads on here because i dont want to be disappointed. if i don't go look, they're still there, right?

I don't have Flickr but with Imgur you want the BBCode link, copy it, and paste it into your post.

That's how I do it. There might be something more but I've never gotten past this method.

For fuck's sake; I started this thread before the great 3rd-party lock down. These fuckers just mangled so many incredible threads on this and other forums. Imjur, here I come, I guess.

I got the email but took it as phishing and deleted it.

What a fucking cunt move on their part. I didn't like the way it worked before with all the popups and slow loading, but at least my links were intact and couldn't be bothered to change. Now I'm making sure I move whatever had in there to somewhere else. They really shit the bed with this one, but at least they'll get to deal with being the most hated photo hosting site from now on.
