Picked up a Robot Graves Aluminium neck for my Strat at the end of 2018 it’s been great and was suppose to be the last purchase for a while… but I’m an addict so..

For 2019 I’ve a Baritone Acoustic build happening at Avalon guitars, expecting it to be finished by mid Feb, spalted maple back/sides and spruce top.. Here are a few pics of the build coming along. Binding and neck next.

I have been playing a lot in the school doing musicals, accompanying choirs and singers so I am looking to get into a rack mount amp that I run straight into a board. I have been working with a guy to design it. Hopefully everything comes together this year.

I'm expecting it to be pretty good; will need to decide on the pickup and wraparound, and the finish... If it goes well it will be shared here, if it's a dog it will never be spoken of again.
Update - finished today, but will probably get another pickup - the Franz I tried sounds too shrill. The burst stain turned out ok, I think, but the main reason it exists is for the neck. It feels great, but the angle is too shallow for the trad dogear. The wraparound is from Philadelphia Luthier Supply and is pretty close to vintage (posts and tuners are old).

A pic with my 50s Jr:

One of Steve’s latest Electric Eyes is definitely on the cards because it’s in the post right now.

Just bought a Tele Deluxe from my year of birth. That'll do me for a while.

Congrats, man! I still see a Tele in my future, preferably with at least one WRHB. Problem is I also see a pre-65 Epi Wilshire or SG. Pie in the sky dreams…

Congratulations. I love my mint and almost unplaced ‘74 . Sounds fat .
And it’s almost my birth year give or take a few years . Maybe 6
