Re: Gear of the Year 2019
These 3 turned up and will be staying!!
A few rebuys.
The creepy zonk and pigdog driver.
Had em both years back, sold and never found anything better so full circle - reboughted
Maybe a couple of small vintage Gibson amps and the usual pedal board updates

No fuzz this year for me, but these two make for a killer combination
This version of the Minimat with the gain knob is the one to get imo and when you whack it with the Mini Driver

Re: Gear of the Year 2019
2019 was a very good year for me - An early 1963 Les Paul Junior (SG), a 1970 Ampeg GU-12 amp; and just recently a 1967 grey Vox Tone bender (from a forum member).
However, as a consequence, I had to sell a bunch of things for the above said purchases. :(

Great deals with: Stu, Graham, Sickle, Devnulljp, SteveG, peps1, paine, fuzzface6669, jetofuj, sciencefriction, jerms, rafmax, Bigfoot2000, whiskeyfuneral, monolithfuzz.

Probaly this 1962 fender deluxe amp, also scored an early white dot sunface, and a ivor nkt by dustin francis, which sounded too spitty to me so i tried to adjust the bias and fucked the pot up, had it replaced and biased at 5v and now sounds killer.

Panaramic aka magnatone amp from the early 60s. Best vibrato in the biz and breaks up really nicely too. Came with the original green victoria-style cover and wooden footswitch as well!

That's killer, Dan. The cabinet's in way better shape than my Da Vinci-branded Magnatone. And you're right about the vibrato - there's nothing else quite like it. Pretty sure Da Vinci and PANaramic were both made and marketed as accordion amps!redeyeflight wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 9:17 pm Panaramic aka magnatone amp from the early 60s. Love that Junior! Weirdly enough, my 67 SG Junior is in exactly the same plastic Gibby case.
