Ebay User Agreement Changes

Post by 1bottlerocket »

I don't sell on Ebay so much anymore, but for those that do, you may want to read the updates to their policy changes regarding international sales agreement policy and payments. It looks like they are going to start an Ebay payment managing set up. To me, it appears that it will be similar to what Reverb has with the Reverb payments.

Right now it is, but the language seems to indicate that they are going to move to full implementation eventually.

Takes longer than PayPal. About 3-5 days to reach your bank account and this is from the day you ship the item. So good incentive for seller to ship but takes way too long to receive funds.

Transfer time and access to funds has been a big rub for me since the inception of these new forms of electronic payment. Paypal has shortened their time transfer time to one business day, to their credit, but others need to follow suit if they want to be taken seriously.
