Re: UPDATE: Bearfoot Fx vs BJFE
I haven’t but I have a pal on insta that has all the different types BJFE, Bearfoot, mad professor and one control. He said this was his favourite so I jumped on it.
Now I’ve only watched videos but the vintage mode sounds to my like the original bee and the modern mode like the mad professor SHOD.
I’m sure the original models maybe Warmer, better made etc but for tones into my lazy j tweed... killer

I spoke to Bjorn recently, he fixed my HBOD Retro for free. He fully endorsed the One Control pedals, I haven’t tried them so I can’t compare to the HBOD but Bjorn seems happy with the link between him and One Control.freddy_von wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 9:48 am Doc, have you had a Honey Bee before that you could compare it to?
Always been keen to try a Honey Bee and only recently discovered that the One Control version was connected with Bjorn, so I've been considering it as an option.

I've owned a bunch of Honey Bee pedals over the years - 2 x original BJFE, Bearfoot, modern BJFE... The One Control version is as good as any I have tried. I can totally recommend it.freddy_von wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 9:48 am Doc, have you had a Honey Bee before that you could compare it to?

Re: UPDATE: Bearfoot Fx vs BJFE
I have a Bearfoot Honey Beeatch (maybe close to/same thing as the Uber Bee) with a 4th knob to control the treble...AFAIK that was Donner’s innovation and I couldn’t imagine not having it there. Would never get rid of it, however I needed to jam a piece of masking tape into a certain spot to keep it from shorting out internally.

Sounds like it’s awesome. The Dyna Red is supposed to be great. I have a Model H 3k which is amazing and goes quite high gain, wonder how different they arestella_blues wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 2:33 pmI think it’s a high gain extension of the Dyna red distortion, very high gain at full blast...,,cliffhanger cos it’s pure ROCK!Bigfoot2000 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 5:23 pmOoh noice, what’s that one based on?
