new matamp ordered, 4 watt green
Last night I ordered a new matamp from the factory, it's a GT4 It'll look like this (only a green LED added for power).
I just ordered the head not sure if I'll go for a 1x15 or 1x12 cab yet (the pic is a 1x12). I need to wait for my wife to step away from the computer and credit cards again
It's 4 watts, built on the discontinued little rock chassis (slightly bigger than a minimat). Valves are 2 ECC83s and a 6V6 designed to sound like a GT stack but only 4 watts
Anyway apparently they're only making 4 of them and 2 have gone if you want one I'd get in touch!
It should be with me within the fortnight I can't wait.

Very cool. A GT at bedroom friendly volume has to be a good thing. I reckon the 12 inch speaker would probably be best suited for a 4 watter.
It's like an orange on a toothpick

Cool! My brother has a little rock, it's excellent for recording and can get pretty darn loud when you crank it.

Nice, Mini-GT! in GREEN.
I thought about GT1, but it's just too big for me...
then THIS GT4 is perfect!
I e-mailed Matmap about it... wonder if they can make me one too.
are they pretty good about getting back the E-mails?
anyone close to Matamp factory? go out there and order one for me too.

Re: new matamp ordered, 4 watt green
cheers guys. I think it will be just perfect for the house
Yeah Jim when I think about it a 1x12 with a decent speaker will be spot on, might even sneak in an order in the next day or so. As long as it can cope with the octave G tuning we have I'll be happy.
Muzz yeah apparenty this is the last of the last of the original green basketweave, infact I think of the 4 gt4s they only have enough to cover 2 in green. But fear not, there is a new green basket weave that Jeff says is very close to the original stuff
JP they were really quick with emails yesterday. There's always the phone if you don't hear from them in a few days.

BEAUTIFUL & PERFECT for home use!
Also, mousing the page up and down gives a cool visual effect with the green smearing and labels switching. Drug free.

Looks nice. I'm all set in the small amp department but I would jump on that if I wasn't. Nice score.
Never argue with an idiot, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience
