Looks dodgy to me too….signature looks off, date not how we write it in the UK, board looks iffy with those trannies and finally coming from China is this the start of Dam fakes like Chibsons

Yall would no better than me but ive never seen a MkII with that color scheme (looks like white on black texture?). Also white washer and also Alpha brand pots are things that may (maybe?) have shown up in Dave's builds at times but arent the norm. Also as noted the date is the wrong format. Shit is fake as hell.

The seller is from China, but I wouldn't jump straight to the conclusion that he's being duplicitous. The Sonic Geek guy has been waving big money around over the last year or so, snapping up boutique fuzz and sharing it on social media. The other pedals he has listed for sale on Reverb look OK as far as I can tell (which isn't very far), so the guy might unknowingly be a victim as well.
Did Dave do multiple runs of MKII's for Japan, each with their own numerical sequence? I see that this pedal is only #010, despite having been supposedly built in 2018.
