FS: Very Early Castledine Custom One-Off OC44 Rangemaster Treble Booster Pedal!
Up for sale is an awesome OC44 Rangemaster pedal that Stuart Castledine built for me way back in 2003/04. It's a custom one-off clone of the original Rangemaster circuit, in a more convenient pedal format. The pedal itself has a beautiful grey hammerite finish and a very cool vintage control knob.
Stu built this around a hard to find vintage OC44 germanium transistor, like the original Dallas Rangemaster treble booster. It sounds fantastic, and was built with high quality parts.
You can see in the photos that it's in mint condition, and has some components with dates on them. The Omeg 10k pot is from 1996, and the yellow capacitor is from 2002. The pedal was completed in January of 2004, as you can see from Stu's signature.
I hate to see this go, but I haven't really been using it that much. I'd like to see it go to someone who would use it more. Of course, it could also be of interest to a collector because of it's rarity, condition, and the fact that it's one of the earliest pedals built from a world renowned and class act builder!
$625 US.
Pm me if interested. Thanks.

Hi guys. There's a few asking about shipping costs. I went to the post office yesterday for an inquiry about Australia - the lineups were bad enough then.
However, today it wasn't even possible. I turned around immediately. Sorry for the delayed responses! Please be patient. Sean.

Wow! I am a booster junky and that would be on my bucket list. Wish I had the cash right now.

Thanks man. Yeah, it's a beauty.
It seems that many are in the same boat these days.
No matter, I might decide to keep it...
