Have we had Jeff's Blues? I can't be bothered to go back and check. :zgrin:

Sure, throw 'em on the pile! (even if they were already posted)
Personally I really like Jeff's vocal tunes! The Nazz Are Blue, Psycho Daisies, Dust My Blues & The Sun Is Shining

I know Nazz was recorded the next year, '66 for Roger The Engineer, sounds like he's got a Les Paul at that point, yes?
What do you think?...I realize these are probably not featuring a Mk1...
Perhaps Nazz is LP straight into a cranked AC30? Opinions?
What about Psycho Daisies --MkII? (Page Fuzz? heheh)

Did someone already post this one. Sure sounds like a MK1 he kicks in around the 1:33 mark to me.

:bump:

Recorded 22 November 1965, at Aeolian Hall, London.

1:30 - 1:44

Is this Ronno's MkI Tone Bender at the foot of it's original owner? :zombiehuh:

Pretty sure it is. Anyone got a MK1 clone and an old Rickenbacker to see if they can get the sound?

Yeah I would lay money that is a MK1. I always loved how Pete used fuzz. He always seemed to have a take it or leave it attitude. Like "this could work here" or "ahhh fuck it turn it off". Great track!

I don't have a Rickenbacker, but I did have an Ovation Viper for awhile. All maple and very hot pickups, so somewhat close to Rickenbacker. Not the same but close enough. To my ears that's definitely a MKI in "The Good's Gone", it reminds me of the sound I got with my Pigeon FX MKI and Ovation. Great song too. I agree kelvinator60, it's pretty funny how he turns it on and then suddenly decides to turn it off. Seems like classic Townshend. A lot of great songs in here, I can't think of one to add of the top of my head. Except The Beatles, is it still unconfirmed what Fuzz Paul McCartney used on Think For Yourself? Great sound either way.

Well, a newer Ric and a Jerms MkI is pretty damn close to my ears...

I agree, love the way he would wing it and just take a chance!

I'm guessing here but The Nashville Teens were from Weybridge (I think), recorded in '66... sounds likey a Mark 1?
