Got mine today too...Ive got to say this thing really rips with my Hi-Flier...I love the way the notes die out, remind me almost of awesome analog synth tones! Ive been playing Mudhoney riffs all afternoon on it :)

Hello gents,

purchased a Savage Henry from Downstroke, can't wait to have it in my hands... Will be my first "D*A*M", still a loooong time before my Fuzz Sound number comes up.

More clips to make the wait easier, anyone?

you will love it.

here's the captains original demo/

here's the bassfuzz demo:
although it sounds best through a cookin' tube amp, you can hear what it does///

Hadn't realized it could preserve the low end of a bass that well, that's a definite and unexpected plus!

Thanks!

How well do Henrys cut through in a band mix?

Depends what your setup is. If I use an amp with lots of gain, the top end gets kinda squashed. On a totally clean amp, Henry really cuts through & still delivers a fat low end.

I tend to use Vox AC15, Fender or Matamps, so running it clean wouldn't be too much of an issue. Cheers for answering that so quick.
