I'll throw down a couple of pictures, though not as fancy as you guys have posted. I would post my Boss DM-1.. but it recently died. Grr.
My Boss DM-2 from October 1981 with an MN3005. It has a "Use a coin to open" label on the bottom.
Also my 90s Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man w/MN3005s that I had modded by Analogman. Still has buffered bypass.
