Re: D*A*M/Sola Sound Professional MKII
It's number 600.
It's definetely a cool MkII, but as far as I get into them (MkIIs), I understand that it's quite difficult to find the ultimate choice, like finding the perfect Stratocaster or Les Paul...
They're all similar, they are all great, but if I wanted to be picky I'd say that none is "perfect".
I think that's the reason people keep on buying, collecting, trying them.
Speaking about this, I really like the tones you get rolling the volume down. MkII with oc75 gets a bit gated, and I don't like much.
But as he said, oc75 is much clear, when the gain is high, the notes are more intellegible.
This one sounds more wooly, like a Fuzz Face, if it makes sense.
The next comparison will be with oc84.
Cheers.

That grey Sola OC84 really does it for me. Ever since I got it I think it has been the best MK II I have ever played.

Re: D*A*M/Sola Sound Professional MKII
just send me an email at info@macaris.co.uk - I am the keeper of the list of doom
in all seriousness I have a waiting list and will get in touch as soon as we have a MKII for you
it IS worth the wait
If you cant stand the wait , sometimes people on this forum go crazy and sell theirs
they then join the list again after separation
It just goes on and on
:)
