Let me know your thoughts on the difference between the two, being the EE and loony two. Thanks bro and congrats

Will do! I suspect it will be very similar, even from the clips of the Sola MK1 reissues you can pick out Steve's MK1. So consistent his builds are!

I think the original Loonys were slightly crazier and gainier, but this batch were pretty much straight up MK1s with a filter knob.

Re: Post your Pigdogs!!
Verdict: sounds exactly like my EE but with a tad less gain/volume at full tilt. The decay, the sputter, the harmonics: all identical. Steve has this down to a fine art.
The different taper pot in the Attack knob is really useful, much easier to dial in the sweet spot.
The filter knob is the unsung hero here though, not only does it allow you to clean up some of the mush when using humbuckers (my only peeve with the MK1 design) you can set the attack low and the filter all the way down and it gets into pseudo FZ-1 territory!! Totally buzzy and garage-y while still allowing more complex harmonies like MAJOR THIRDS that a Maestro would struggle with.
The Loony Two has a PERMANENT spot on my board!!

Re: Post your Pigdogs!!
The MK1 is my favourite fuzz design. Hopefully down the road I’ll pick up one again.
