Jesus christ!! More knobs than a Trump rally!
My current iteration:
I kicked my Loony Two off in favor of just having my wedge Electric Eye and Castledine Wah sitting on the floor next to the board

Small changes, currently using the board through a slightly overdriven %13 JRT 9/15 on 6v6 channel.
A Jerms MkI and a COB clone replaced my crazy tube circuits Constellation and Space Charged, Lazy J is now used
as a dual stage boost for the already overdriven amp.

Sweet as.
Jerms is currently building me a teeny tiny MK1 to go on my board. Will be worth the wait!

Re: POST YOUR PEDALBOARD
For almost 25 years that I play guitar I was always getting my overdrive through pedals. Nothing sounds like an amp pushed, and this little amp is a beast.
I have a fryette power station to use when needed.

Fun fact: it is the first that was ever built with a mastery tremolo and the magenta pickguard...

the wooden top was done by the previous owner, best Wah ever
Sounds amazing man, yes like a proper tape delay its also really well built and solid, I have no fear stomping my big feet on it, best features (for me) are the tap tempo, and the head selector switch (2 heads, one long, one short and also a mix of the 2). Im not brilliant at describing how pedals sound (no shit) but if its authentic tape delay you want this is it, well worth the money in my bookerer wrote:could you elaborate, pretty please? im super interested in one, but havent heard much said about them. what do they sound like? alot different than a ep3?
I know it's been a few years since this post.
Just wondered if you still feel the same way about the T Rex Replicator? Or did you start experiencing some of the qualty problems, etc, that some reviews started mentioning down the line...?
I know the company mentioned that the Junior is an improvement, I'm just not into the fact it only has one head.
Has anyone else had any experience with the original Replicator?
They've come down in price and improved the tape cartridges, so I'm just wondering if they're worth the price for an actual tape delay.
Or thinking that holding out for a Fulltone, a vintage unit, or something better coming along. The price difference is a factor though, and if this unit is still going strong, you still feel the same way about it, I'd probably just pick one up. I know I can try one out, and return it... but I'm more concerned with any long term issues people may have experienced.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!

Re: POST YOUR PEDALBOARD
Hey man, I don't have it anymore, I sold it because it was a lot of money for what I was using it for. That and a lot of other expensive effects went and I bought cheaper versions of everything
Don't get me wrong it was an excellent delay and really good sounding, I didn't have many issues although the tape went and was a pain to replace but as you said they have improved that and if I remember correctly it was mostly down to user error
Good luck if you take the plunge, I'm sure you won't be disappointed
