Sweeeeet :freakout:

By the time I got into fuzz he'd pretty much stopped building germanium fuzzes, and they don't turn up often on the 2nd hand market!

Yes, I am surprised his builds are not in higher demand. I have two or three and they are certainly keepers.

The waiting is the hardest part. The seller shipped via UPS, which takes a week.

I never understand why anyone ships other than USPS. 2-3 days almost anywhere in the states.

You think that’s bad, my SonicVI is coming from Canada via BOAT! That’s like 6 weeks minimum. On second thoughts I should have sent it to my friend in the states to forward to me.

Back on the jerms topic I’m really loving my MK Ultra. Put it up against my Pigdog FZ-1 and I could replicate all the same tones, and it could almost manage the same with my Electric Eye (which is a little more scooped and has the best Mk1 decay I’ve ever heard), whereas the jerms is a little smoother and mid heavy like my old Loony Two.

All of this action happens between minimum and 9 o clock on the attack, above that it’s artefact and gating city, with synth sounds and over-bias craziness. Almost like an Ibanez FZ7 on 100% damage, but not sounding like a tin of bees in a blender.

Pretty sure if I played this thing on acid I would phase into another plane of existence.
