Yep!!!! One of the best ever purchases I've made. Glad you sold it to me. I understand you ended up regreting it. It's still the best MKI of my whole lot, but some other contenders are very, very close!!!

Got the '81 reverse in today, compared to the '84 blue print its lower gain and has a super fat midrange, almost in Sovtek era territory, really cool!

DO IT. It's very special, low end and clarity all together, with some more gain than standard V7 and V8, and a slightly more aggresive feeling. I have tested it only with my Tele, so YMMV.
