Panel/Faceplate Engravers in the UK?

Post by Dr Tony Balls »

Possible long shot but....Trying to help out a friend in the UK get a panel made for an amp. Nothing fancy, probably just black and white like a Hiwatt. Here in the states I use a service where I send them an Illustrator file and they etch and mail it to me. Anyone have a recommendation of something like that in the UK?

Precision Design. Just one woman named Sandy in Indiana. When I first got into amp building I started with Weber kits and then started modifying from said kits. She supplies all the panels for Weber so it was easy to ask her for X amp panel but leave off specific holes and labeling or changing things around. Now I send her Illustrator files.

Also, interestingly, I just placed a chassis order from the guy I use (Synaptic Amps) and he asked if I want any faceplate engraving. So apparently he does that now, as well, but I have no experience with it.
