93 vs. 93K

Both DP-93 models of the Dope Priest are based upon the 1990s Russian manufactured Sovtek Big Muff Pi. The DP-93 upon the rare 7D version featuring the 430 ohm emitter resistors, and the DP-93K upon the uber rare ‘Green Army Civil War‘ 7B units. Tonally, this is not a day and night comparison, as the differences are very subtle. The 93 is a hair tighter on low-end projection, whereas the 93K has a slightly throatier bark.
