New batch indeed. NKT MT57F in mine. What analogman call NKT Red Dot.

Have an Analogman NKT Red Dot and I like the Space Face more. It is warmer and when you turn back the volume it is glassier.

Do you know what gain range your Sunface is? Congrats on the Spaceface, such a cool fuzz!

It is very similar to the Space Face. I think a bit less. They are both not much gain.

Ah right on! I preferred my low gain Sunfaces compared to the ones he marked high gain. Way more usable sweep in the volume knob and more articulate when fully open. Wish I could have joined you on this batch though, I’m sure the Spaceface sounds amazing! Every Pigdog I’ve played is a step above! Thank you for the insight!

You’ll be lucky next time. Over the years Dave Main, Steve Williams and DanDrive became my favourites. Always fantastic pedals.

Haven’t tried Dan Drive, but I’m in the same boat concerning Main’s and Williams. Always seem to sound and feel special :)

Yeah! Same wooden sides. The history of these things is wild. There's so much variance with how they were made, in a seemingly short period of time, that it's crazy if only one person/factory was responsible.
