Things learnt - the Royal RF-1 sounds monstrous :freakout:

I didn’t know that about the Mascis muff, I thought it was standard made
Tym describes the Fuzz Munchkin as “between a Ramhead and a version 3” which is similar to how the Captain describes the DP-77 Dope Priest. I wonder how similar they are.

The Dope Priest DP-77 sounds very close to a Tym Fuzz Munchkin. Also the Castledine Inca Drop. I've a closet full of big muffs, those three (well I have several Dp-77) sound alike much closer to the Munchkin than the Stomp Under Foot or Wren And Cuff takes on the Mascis Ram Head #2

Fun fact #1: J did buy x 3 D*A*M Ram Head's circa 2005 from Musictoyz. I did converse with him briefly via email (didn't realize at the time it was the same 'J' from Dinosaur - lol) he commented there was little to no discernable difference between those and his main Big Muff Pi. Which I assume was his go-to unit for Dinosaur. *cough cough* everyone buy a Dope Priest :hihi:

Fun fact #2: In one of those cool ass Japanese quarterly pedal books (I forget the name) J does mention the Priest but refers to it as a 'D*A*M Dope Fiend'

Enjoyed that more than I expected. Great that they had Jim tastefully demo some of the pedals.

Let's not forget that even The Captain took a crack at the FY-2 circuit back in 2008:
