Now wonder it sounds so good! 3 vintage impex loaded pedals at hand and your magical touch = one hell of a pedal!
It's been the only fuzz I've owned that really works with my Vox Supreme at gig levels.

little late to this party. but those clips are drool worthy phil, incredible sustain.
i must have one of these, some how some way. or the macaris version with the OC84s

Going by Dave's description of the macari's MKII, I reckon they'll sound pretty similar to my impex MKII.

Could you explain the Impex a little more. I just assumed by the looks of them they were Mullards. What's the story behind Impex, where located, what pedals had them, and were they affiliated with Mullard, etc.
